Resolved Question: How can I get rid of plantar warts! Help?

After I arrive out the bath or shower I use tweezers to tug the dead skin away which only results in it bleeding in most cases, you can barely look the black spots anymore. Someone please help me receive rid of it as I want it away for summer? I don't want it surgically removed. Is there any home remedies? Thanks p.s (my other foot is perfectly fine).

Resolved Question: Are Mixed Nuts with Peanuts a Complete Protein?

I had been shying away from peanuts, because I didn't think they held as much nutritional value and walnuts and almonds. But if combining walnuts/almonds with peanuts makes a complete protein, I'll go back to including them in my snacks. Note: I know they don't have to be combined in the same meal. But I'm lazy, and if I could just receive a can of Planters mixed nuts, and call it a day, I'd just as soon do that.

Resolved Question: Care for a dying polka dot plant?

I was at Walmart and on clearance they had some baby polka dot plants. The soil was bone dry and they were just unhappy looking. So I took one of them home. It's tiny, only 3 inches tall right now, it's inside of a 4 inch planter. One of the sprouts is looking healthy and glad and is growing, the other side is wilting away. Now, when I went to re-soil the plant the roots were wound up a lll in the old soil there was a LOT of them and tied together. I am wondering if the wilting plant is going to kill my glad plant and if it does, should I take the wilting plant out? If do take the wilting plant out, how do I do it without damaging the healthy plant? Also, how big can/will a plant receive inside a 4in planter? *my first houseplant*

Resolved Question: building custom Green Houses would you buy?

I've been thinking about building a green home and possibly selling them. I recently looked up the cost of a "green home kit" and found base line models to be around 599.00 plus and that doesn't include the 40'+ of 2x4 needed for the frame.. I am thinking of selling these so I want to share my idea and look if you every would like to buy such a thing and what you think a good price would be! Okay so as I said I found that a base model which would require you to plant in the ground is going to run about 1,000. Take that price into consideration, and be honest as if you would buy something like this, if you can afford to buy something like this, and what you would pay. Here's the idea, a 12'x12'x8' squared model, full UV green home plastic with 4 year warranty. Full floor, stained, water sealed, and clear coated. Two main isles, Nine, ten foot shelves to hold "planters" Planters will be either full 10' or can be built to be smaller sizes up to the ten foot length. Total of 90 feet of planting with each planter being about 2 foot wide x 1 foot deep. Also the back wall would be designated custom built tomato planters as tomatoes grow quite tall. Built in Irrigation system on timer, every you'd have to do is hook up your garden hose. Lighting system as if you needed access after dark. Everything stained to look nice, water sealed, and clear coated, would be two main Isles with a back isle. isles would have a traction specific mat so to talk. there would be several drains throughout the green home. Also thinking of possibly adding a separate room off the back to include a propane heater, which would be run by a 100LB Propane tank. OR Two 20LB tanks. Which ever proves more convenient for the buyer. the duct would be run below the main floor and coated with heat/water proof materials, and vents would be run up same as you would find in your home. Located directly below the planter shelves. This would be an Additional cost. The typical Temp gages and every would be included as well. I am also going to include 4 windows in the fashion of one rear, two side and the front door being a steel door with built in screen and sliding glass windows to allow for 4 way cross ventilation.. This would also allow for the Owner to put fans in said windows. I could also upon request build a fan into the wall of the green home. Now as far as lighting I was going to go with Camp style battery powered lights that would run off a light switch such as you'd use in your home, OR I can provide wired lights and in-turn you could run single extension cord to the green home that would power your lights and built in fan. The possibilities are almost endless. So, with every that in mind, what would you pay from the base line up the the top end realistic This is a idea I'm thinking of running with I have several others. Please if you have an opinion please put it forth. I am personally thinking base line idea of mine to go for about 1,500 give or take fully built which would consist of the shelves, planters, full floor, premium plastics, etc. ALSO forgot to MENTION every planters would arrive Pre-lined with Heavy Gauge Plastic ETC. this model would include windows as well. for about 1,500.00-2,000.00 Now the premium, with build in lights, built in fan, 6 section green home for easy break down and transport. Quick line up and clamp together design with easy hide away clamps going for about 3,000+ This scale is a 12x12x8 foot design offering a huge 204 sq ft of planting area.. that's a 102 foot row or 9 ten foot rows, and 1 12 foot row going across the back wall. each planter would be 10 foot x 2 foot and 1 foot deep. OR several smaller planters put into that 10 foot shelving unit. So, the question is would you buy this? and How much would you be willing to spend? I'm sleepy of seeing base line green houses selling for thousands of dollars or not including a door, or windows or even a frame or floor. So if you like my idea, yell out what you would pay, and if you could afford to pay such and let me know! REMEMBER THIS IS MY FIRST IDEA AND LAYOUT DESIGN, IF I DECIDE TO GO WITH IT I WILL CREATE AND DESIGN MORE LAYOUTS AND BUILD CUSTOM LAYOUTS AS WELL! every DEPENDING ON PRICE! THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR TIME AND HELP!

Open Question: I have something on my foot that I suspect may be a planters wart but am not sure?

It is located on the ball of my foot and it's like a black spot sort of thing embedded inside the skin surrounded and covered by a callous. I've tried traditional wart treatment methods with no luck. I feel that I should mention that I'm beginning to doubt it is a planters wart because it isn't painful. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? It has been there for months. Resolved Question: Advice on a Yugioh Deck?

So I used to play Yugioh a lot, stopped for many years, and am now getting back into playing it online. I came up with a nice of deck I never really used before that strikes me as really chilly: basically it's a burn deck that defeats the opponent by drawing massive numbers of cards in a single turn, using Solemn Wishes to turn each card drawn into HP for me and using flame Princess to turn HP given to me into damage to the opponent. I think the deck is pretty chilly because I never saw one quite like it, but it hasn't done every that well so far. Any advice from more experienced players? Monsters: Royal Magical Library x2 (helps draw more when spamming magic) UFO Turtle x2 (increases chance to receive out flame Princess) flame Princess x3 (The heart of the deck) Traps: Solemn Wishes x3 (The heart of the deck) Appropriate x2 (makes One Day of Peace, Dark World Dealings, and Cup of Ace much better) Hidden Book of Spell x1 (Can help receive back some of the nicer magic if I had to use them up before getting out Solemn Wishes and flame Princess) Spells: Dark Room of Nightmare x2 (Greatly increases flame Princess damage done) Magical Mallet x3 (One of the best magic, lets me draw a potentially huge number of cards at once) Ancient Leaf x2 (Great for drawing more when I've already got a ton of lifepoints from Solemn Wishes) Into the Void x3 (Not that great, but there don't seem to be every that many better spells to draw a card that aren't banned) Reload x3 (Great way to draw tons of cards) One Day of Peace x2 (Good to receive some cards early, especially with Appropriate or if I need to stall another turn) Dark World Dealings x2 (Gives a clue about opponent's deck, gives good number of cards with Appropriate) Guard Penalty x3 (Actually hoping to drop this one if anyone has a better idea for a card to draw more) Magic Planter x2 (Draw decent number of cards, also clear up crucial spell slots if they receive full) Monster Recovery x3 (Like Magical Mallet and Reload, plus can keep a monster) Book of Eclipse x1 (Can cease attack and let me draw with Appropriate) I think that's every, 40 cards total. Any help would be appreciated, thanks guys.

Voting Question: Planting roses in a planter?

Hi So I have three potted roses and a lovely planter that they can be grown in. But since Ive never used a planter before, I have no idea how to go about it? Do the roses stay in their pots or are they to be de-poted before being put into the planter? It also recommends soaking bare root balls in warm water overnight but since mine are inside pots, should I soak the pots instead or simply water them thoroughly beforehand? Im a total novice at gardening so any help would be much appreciated - please keep explanations as simple as possible though! Thanks in advance =)

Resolved Question: Considering military service, what would be best between Army and Marines?

Ive been undecided about entering the military ever since a year ago after graduation of highschool, im currently 19 and in what i consider my prime and while i dont have much muscle i do have very big amounts of endurance and the ability to gain muscle quick because of my metabolism and how much i tend to push myself physically. right now im very close to recieveing my Certification for becoming a Nursing Assistant, so im leaning more twords the army and deciding to enter their medical field (most likely nursing so i can make collage easier as im planning on becoming a nurse later in life). however, i am very much into any nice of physcial activity, ive grown up on boats my whole life and am naturally amphibious, and have an extreme natural talent for firearms and handling them, which are three things the marines specialize in (every marine is a rifleman and they are primarily amphibious). now ive heard (so id very much welcome corrections if im wrong.) the army's physical standard tests require more push ups, sit-ups and longer running endurance. whereas the marines require more tug-ups, less abdominal physcial exercises and a shorter but faster running test. now im also about 5'7'' and 136 pounds with very little body fat and i have the ability to do about 8-10 FULL pullups, about 20-25 FULL pushups, about 25 sit-ups (more if i can take a couple seconds of relax between every 3-4 which i can eventualy make it up to 50 sit ups), and i can run a 8:00-9:00 mile (every of these stats are my base abilities and not after i have been working out at every mind you every) as for my mental abilities i have yet to refine it but i can think very quickly in a dangerous situation, as well as have a very quick reaction time (i dodge a push stick that was propelled by the table saw in woods class back in highschool when i was 17, the only view i had was my peripheral vision and i was walking about 10 feet from where the kid was cutting the 2x4 scale wood( this is just to receive an idea of how quick i react)) im not so great at paperwork or math, but i have a odd ability to memorize statistics and facts (my biggest ability is to memorize firearms names, how they work, what ammunition they use, how far they can shoot, what power they can deliver on target and at the muzzle just to name a few) ive gotten great comments from my teachers about my ability to learn quick when pushed except not so much in math, but i also have a knack for health-care but wouldnt call my self extraordinary. a few things im sorta worried about when entering the military that could receive me rejected that i feel i should list would be the fact that i have apserger's syndrome that while is virtually gone, or at least the super major and even the major symptoms to where i can function perfectly normally (i steer, go to school, am very responsible with my shotgun and the worst thing ive gotten in trouble with the law for was two parking violations) i still wonder if that would disqualify me.. now i also have minor depression but it seems to be fading away, and while im medicated for it it seems to help more to control my anger a little easier which is another thing that runs on my fathers side of the family but i have the ability (at least to an extent) to control violent behavior when im mad than my family can but doesnt mean that i dont have my moments like everyone else does (for some reason i dont receive violent with people though, course its prolly because i was abused by my ex-fiancee physically, mentally and verbally throughout the year we lived together). as for physical disqualifications i really only have some planters warts on my feet that i can take care of like i have before, and a bunion on my right foot that doesnt actually inhibit my ability to run or wear shoes that are the same size. (yes i know those are gross but its something i have to ask as they are the most noticable physical deformities that i know i have (and if you dont know what a bunion is i guess google it cause i could explain it but reading up on it urself is a lot easier)) i know thats a lot of info but i figure giving that will make it easier for everyone to post a more realistic and helpful response, thanks (:

Voting Question: What should I do to start a raised garden?

Going through a really tough time right now... came home early to mow the lawn and was suprised that doing so actually made me feel better. I've been thinking for a while about how to spruce up the back yard of my rental home, and I thought a raised garden might help me through this mess. I never received word from the property manager about whether or not I could plant in the ground and I got sleepy of asking, so that's why I'm looking into planters. Is it difficult? What can I grow? I would like to plant maybe some herbs, and strawberries or something like that. Nothing major. I have tried to grow flowers in the past with epic failure, so not looking to do that again. I also have a little one, so I think she might like learning about gardens. I live in Texas, so we do deal with a little rainfall and frequent water restrictions. Thanks!

Open Question: When I get a pell grant in MY NAME and my parents forge my signature and deposit the check into their account?

the first semester of college I got a pell grant of $900 both in the beginning of the semester and in the middle as well. During that semester, I was able to open my possess banking account and put that money in so I could spend it on useful things like a basic laptop and for gas and the occasional oil change. I had a good chunk of that money left over for a semester after that if I needed it. However, ever since that semester, my parents have been making excuses to take the money for themselves saying its for "Room and Board" and then turn around and buy patio tables, vegetable gardens, planter boxes, and going out to eat every the time. It is really frustrating to look this money misused in this way. I would like some advise as to what I should do: Should I keep letting them do this because they're my parents and what they say is "Law"? Or can I opt out of the program and not receive any check in the mail whatsoever? I'd adore a third option of keeping the money for myself. I'm thinking about going through the mail when I'm expecting another check and depositing it into my account anyway. I'm just afraid of getting kicked out... Please Help! Kyle... It's "money" not monies. I don't care that it's a legitimate word, it doesn't sound right to me. Also, No. Its not misuse if that is my only way of getting to class, other than the bus of course. Going to school puts a lot of miles on my car, its not exactly close... I believe that's enough to count as academic related costs... I'm seasonally unemployed. In case you don't know what that means, I only work summers. My school schedule is so full, if I took nights to work, I would have to forget about snooze for the whole semester, aside from the breaks when I'm allowed time off of school. As for my parents not being obligated to keep me here, you're absolutely right. I don't think they would, because most parents aren't THAT icy... However, if they did, I wouldn't object to that.

Resolved Question: Transfering Oriental Lily?

I recently received a lily purchased at Walmart. It is a Oriental and from what research I've done I believe it is of the Mona Lisa variety. Its pretty rootbound in a tiny plastic pot. I know I need to plant it outside but I need to wait for construction on my home to be finished. I was thinking of putting it in a big wooden planter until I can transfer it to its permanent place. Would that be ok? Its got to be better than keeping it indoors in its current pot. Also if someone could give me more info about it I'd appreciate it.

Voting Question: What kind of pepper do I use to deter squirrels from digging up my sunflowers?

I'm on my third round of sunflower seeds now 'cause the squirrels and chipmunks keep digging up the seeds as soon as I plant them. I've seen that pepper might work, but I've never used it and couldn't tell if this means crushed (as in flake) red pepper or ground cayenne. Does either work? Or no? Also, at this point I'm just protecting seeds in a planter garden. Will the pepper hurt the seedlings at every? I don't know why, it just seems like it might irritate the plants if they receive wet. Yes/no? Another also: I do not want to kill the squirrels, I just want them to leave my plants alone.

Back in March my daughter went in to have a planter wart removed for the second time on her toe. It was not clip out or frozen, but i don't remember the name or the stuff that was put on it. For awhile now there has been a big black blister/mass on a great area of her toe. Is this normal? what is it? Should we be concerned? Does it go away on its on?

What now? I've been doing really good with exercise and eating healthy. But now I messed it every up... Will this make me gain a lot of weight?

Voting Question: Should I take the top off of the Topsy Turvy Tree when watering?

Or do I just pour it in the three slots? Note that I'm talking about the Topsy Turvy Tomato Tree, the one that you plant three different plants in, not the regular Topsy Turvy planter.

Resolved Question: Can I plant 2 Rose Bushes in...?

Can I plant 2 rose bushes in a wooden planter I made (about 35 1/2" drainage holes) that measures 32" long, 14" deep, 14" wide? My roses are getting here tomorrow, and though I have more pots, I adore this planter and would look great with my 2 floribunda bushes I bought. (Ebb Tide and Distant Drums)

Voting Question: What's a sure-fire cure for planter's warts?

If warts are a virus, and Thermaflu helps with viral pneumonia, can't they do something for warts? I'm sleepy of the damned warts, after, what, 40 years?!
