Resolved Question: Am I considered "Rich" (In America)?
I live in a 8,800 Square foot, custom built home. It overlooks the Cascade Mts. and the Columbia river. It has a full sized basketball court (Indoor), and a tennis court (outdoor). 3 car garage. It has a trampoline, a pool, hot tube, and garden. It is situated on 4.2 acres of Scrubland for our purebred German Shepherds, and two Schnauzers. The home also has 3 flatscreen televisions. A 90" in the living room, a 62" in my parent's bedroom, and a 42" in my media room. There is a massive downstairs library, with over 10,000 books (My mom and I adore reading), with a grand piano (I play). Most of the furniture in our home is quite new, and every the couches and stuff are leather. The dining room tables and chairs are custom cherry wood. Our kitchen has a subzero fridge/freezer, twin ovens, and a $300 toaster oven, and just as expensive microwave. The kitchen wood is cheery. Our silverwear and china is actually silverwear and china. My mom drives a 2012 Lincoln Navigator, and my dad drives a 2008 Platinum Edition Toyota Tundra. He would steer a, (direct quote) "Porsche 911 Turbo", but he needed the truck to tug our boat. We have a 23' Yamaha Twin Jet engine luxury boat. After upgrades, it could sell for about $65,000. I go to public school, as the only private school where we live is a religious one, and our entire family is atheist. (Please no religious hate) Otherwise I would go to a private one. I was home schooled for 5 years because I had trouble with social interactions. I wear designer clothes, i.e. Armani, Prada, Kenneth-Cole, Boss, Giorgio-Armani, Gucci, ect. ect. ect. For my fourteenth birthday, my parents bought me a 1998 Mercedes-Benz S600 with bulletproof windows, a v12, and 493 horsepower. I have a 2007 Macbook Pro, and a custom gaming computer, I built it myself, worth about $4,500. I have a Wii, and an Xbox 360 Slim with Kinect. My phone is the Droid X2, although I will receive the X3 the day it comes out. I snowboard for fun, and play tennis competitively. We spend about $1,500 on sports for myself. I mostly receive straight A's, with the occasional A- or B+. I'm in a 10th grade math class, and a 10th grade science class. (I'm in 8th grade) I have one sister, who is six, she was adopted from China. She, IMO is very, very spoiled. For her sixth birthday, we rented a limo, and she rented an entire theatre room at the local movie theatre. Her entire kindergarten class was invited, even people she didn't know. They ate at a local restaurant which has the cheapest lunch at $25. For Xmas received a set of diamond earrings, a diamond and white gold necklace, a 3DS, and over $700 worth of makeup. From my parents alone. She receive's needy grades, and gets into a lot of trouble at school. She dances, and ice skates. My parents 'helped' her receive into the advanced dance class. The school then got $10,000 worth of new lighting equipment. I have a personal media room, and a tiny bedroom (I snooze in it and that's it, so I opted for a tiny one) with a walk-in closet, and a personal bathroom. There is a balcony on the media room. My family is taking a vacation to Paris, France this summer. We went to Disney Land last year, and are planning to go to the Amazon jungle next year. We usually stay in a 5 or 4 star hotel, and we eat at $100 a meal restaurants. I am asking a sincere question, and want a sincere answer. Please don't answer if you haven't read the whole thing. Also, this is my first Yahoo! question, so no hate. I would give ten points for best answer, but I'm not sure how to do that. So, you MIGHT receive ten points for best, you might not. Sorry if this is in the wrong category, as I said, first question.

Resolved Question: Nippon Ant Killer Powder?
I got a minor Flea problem in my home. I was given my next door neighbours cat a few months ago when they moved home. She was an indoor and outdoor cat and every was going well until she disappeared 3 or 4 weeks ago, and I have tried every sorts to find her with no luck so far. But I now have a flea problem in my home. I don't think it's a major issue so far (fingers crossed). I have had many flea bites on me over the past 2 weeks roughly, and my 2 kids have not had any at every. I have done a lot of reading up on de-fleaing the home and have been vacuuming thoroughly the floors, carpets and furniture. I don't actually have any flea killer of any sort in my home. But I have Nippon Ant Killer powder which I have used before in my home for an ant problem. I was just wanting to know if this powder might be good for the carpets for killing fleas? I can't seem to find out any information on this for the product itself, although it says its effective for killing many crawling insects in the home. It is not harmful to kids either. The only information I could find was that this powder contains Permethrin, which is apparently toxic to fleas. Has anybody used this product in their home before and managed to kill the fleas? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Resolved Question: What type of patio furniture?
So we have a big deck and would like to have 2 seating areas. 1 with a big table and seating for at least 10 and then an outdoor family room set (sofa. loveseat, coffee-table, etc). I am trying to pick a material. For the table and chairs I am in between Ipe and cast aluminum. And for the other seating area I'm thinking resin wicker, Ipe, or cast aluminum. The 2 most important traits I am looking for are #1 What will it look like in 5-10 years if I do little more than cover it in the winter. and #2 I would like to do as little as possible and have it stay looking nice. Cost is not an issue. I want it to look very nice for a long time and am willing to pay for that. I want the Ipe as it looks amazing but it doesn't take oil well, I hear, and after a few years in the sun will just look grey I'm afraid, so what's the point? I've seen what Atlantic City boardwalk looks like after 25 years, it's Ipe, and I don't really care for that look. But I bet they never oil it and it's in the sun 100% of time. My deck is in shade about 50% of time and we will have umbrellas too and will cover in winter.

Voting Question: Is it possible to 'spoil' a cat?
Oreo is a Manx. Oreo was the runt of a litter. The litter was the family of wild/outdoor cats taken care of by a neighborhood 'crazy cat lady'. Oreo was a gift from said cat lady. When Oreo was a kitten (and I was a very young preteen or teen), I would always carry her on my shoulder and rock her like a baby. I treated her like I treated my dolls. When Oreo was about a year or two, I bottle fed her with possibly-lactose-free baby formula (in retrospect, it was not a great idea) and I basically treated her like a baby, sometimes spoonfeeding her until age 7. I lived in the hospital for a few months, not being able to walk. Without me, Oreo stopped eating (for only a while) and, as my mom says, never stopped howling until I actually called the home phone and let my mom have Oreo 'talk' to me over the phone. I'm in college now, and Oreo habitually begs for me to pick her up. When I do, she instinctively rolls over on her back, so I may rock her like i've always done. My cat tries to gain my undivided attention by misbehaving (but only when i'm home from college). She misbehaves by scratching furniture, jumping on television sets, tripping me over for attention, nipping... etc. She only does it when i'm at home and where I can look her. With my mom, she behaves. I'm starting to believe that the way I treated her years ago as a kitten is causing her to be spoiled and untrainable. My second question is: Can the way you treat a kitten morph it's behavior in such a drastic way when it grows up? Maybe if I treated Oreo differently, she would have a different personality... What do you cat gurus think?

Resolved Question: How Do I Find The Motivation To Clean?
My dilemma is that I've moved from one part of my parent's home to another, but the place I'm in (although very nice) is rather difficult to manage. I'm eighteen years old, and I am going to stay home through my first two years of college. The upside of my apartment like room is that it has an additional back patio where I have my possess outdoor furniture set up for smoking and chilling out. The downside? The inside area gets messy easily, and since my new room is the basement, i also have to share space with my mom's office and a section of storage room. Although very roomy, the basement is difficult to clean up once it gets messy, and leafs often blow in from the outside. Right now my room is a mess, and I don't know where to start. My tobacco products, CDs, DVD's, Video games, and computer and documents (and clothes) are not always where they need to be, and are scattered. I have more room then I did in my last abode, but since I have to share the space, I'm finding it harder and harder to clean up every of the time. There's a nice sink below the bar area in the basement where I keep my porn, but I'm beginning to run out of space there too. I only have one desk that can hold the tobacco product basket, but I need to find out how to make room for my laptop on the only table in the basement. The bed itself is a mattress on wheels, which constantly moves around, knocking items off of the upper ledge, and losing them below my bed.

Voting Question: do cats make good pets and allergy advice?
Well we every really want a cat and we are probably going to receive a Siberian cat But I have some questions 1. Do cats make good pets? 2. Will they do okay with hamsters, rats, outdoor rabbit and dogs? 3. My dad has a cat allergy. Mild symptoms though. He gets runny nose itchy and red eyes and starts coughing. So we are probably getting a Siberian cat (yes I know no cat is hypoallergenic) using allergy wipes on the cat and fabric deodoriser, taking allergy tablets, feeding a high quality diet, brushing very often, vaccuming a lot, having an air filter cleaner thing and banning the cat from some rooms. Is there anything else we can do apart from allergy shots? (My Dad has a huge phobia of injections) And yes my Dad is willing to do every this because he loves cats and want`s one too. 4. What is the best canned food to feed a cat? In the UK? Should you mix dry and canned or change brands with canned to give a variety of foods? No raw feeding though. Thanks. 5. How to keep cats off the furniture and litter box train them? Thank you ever so much.

Voting Question: Is my cat pregnant or hurt?
Okay here is the story: she has been an outdoor cat for almost a year. A couple days ago I decided to take her in and make her an indoor cat. Well we had to look for her, it turns out she was hiding in the attic. Things that make me think she is either sick or pregnant: 1. She is moving very very slowly. She has been walking slow as if she is stalking something 2. She meows every time you touch her 3. She keeps hiding in corners and behind furniture 4. Her nipples look a little swollen, but I never really knew what they looked like before Could she be pregnant? Can't take her to the vet, I know I should, but I'm needy.

Resolved Question: Opinion on which replacement grill to get?
I currently have the CharBroil Tru Infared Commercial Series 4 burner grill with pot/griddle on side. It is a 499$ grill at Lowe's I bought it on sale when it was 399$ with a Lowe's card for 10% off. I only paid around 380$, I have had it roughly 1.5 years. I didn't initially think it was going to be as much maintenance as the reviews stated but I should have taken advice first of every from my wife and secondly weighed that against the reviews but what can I say I'm a man and I didn't hear and my judgment got the best of me. I adore the grill and the way it cooks, I dislike the cleaning of it and the fact that by having to keep the grates oiled it attracts mice who like to crap and pee on my grill. Also when debris fall into the tapered pan below the firebox you can receive to it to clean it out so when it gets hot there's no way to clean the mice droppings, which leads to a through bleach cleaning about once a month with a pressure washing following. Secondly the maintenance involved, so I am at the point of selling the grill. I know someone who is willing to give me 299$ for it. So I can at least pay for most of the new one. There were three reasons I chose this model. First was it was every Stainless, until I found out later the two shelves were painted which is too tardy since I tried to polish it with a harsh stainless polish and it now has stains in those spots. Second it has a big cooking area, and Third it is infared. One other factor in determining me selling this grill and buying another is its size. I bought the grill disassembled while I was building a home, once our home was finished i began constructing it int he screened in porch. Well.... the screened in porch is much tiny with furniture than we had anticipated so now there's a huge grill taking up every the space. I want something with similar functionality, not necessarily infared and of quality build and with longevity. I began looking at the Weber Q Series, as a side note I also looked at the CharBroil Infared 2 burner which is very tiny in comparison but after every the quality issues and maintenance I erased that thought from my head. So Yahoo answers I want some opinions. First off I would like to know if the infared really makes that much of a difference will I receive the same cooking from a weber with porcelain coated cast iron as I would with stainless steel infared? Second question is what would really be the difference between using the 4 burner commercial CharBroil with 13,000 btu and the Weber Q320 which I have decided upon with a whopping 21,700btu. The advantage of the Weber Q320 for me is that the side shelves fold down so when im done cooking I can roll it into the corner and its not as big because on the Charbroil the shelves are permanent. By the way the griddle and pot warmer were never used so I wont be missing this feature. It is also a lot less maintenance to keep clean plus I can bring the grates inside or build a storage box for them much easier than the CharBroil to deter mice. So again Yahoo answers my two questions remain how will the Q320 compare to my Current grille and what difference does the btu's make? Yahoo also needs to make a category for outdoor grilling but Im guessing my better opinions are going to arrive from this section where mostly grilling guys would also be.

Resolved Question: Should I visit, or leave him alone?? Will he STAY there?
My cat has had intermittent problems with 'marking,' or 'spraying' inside the home. It was earlier solved by letting him be outdoors when he wished, but in the last 6 months I moved to SC to an area where ha can not go outside. After months of trying prozac and other techniques, he started the marking and spraying again, destroying furniture and meowing, pacing, and acting generally upset almost every the time. I was frantic. Luckily, I did find a horse farm that agreed to take him, and he is currently in an over sized rabbit cage until he acclimates (meets the aging barn cat), and can be let out. Should I visit him, or leave him alone? Will he STAY there once released?? He has always wanted to be an outdoor cat, and the climate is great for that down here. However, I'm terrified he'll run off, and I'll be looking for him. (I did have him micro chipped) Also, I can't decide if visiting him would help him, or hurt him? I want to do what's best for HIM. (Meanwhile, I'm on tears every the time....!

Resolved Question: Clipping cats claws?????
I have lots of cats and im lucky enough to live in a very rural part of ireland far away from busy roads, there are no natural preditors for cats here and the few feral cats that were in our area i had trapped and got them neutrered so they would'nt pose a threat to my cats. Basicially every my cats with exception of one waiting for neutering and one disabled cat are outdoor cats and i dont have to worry about their claws doing damage to me or my furniture but i do clip my cats claws that are indoors every the time. I use a proper claw trimmer i got in the local pet store and it does a great job and i also know how to rim them correctly as i have worked with cats every my life but im finding my disabled cats claws are flaking a lot since the reguular trimmings why is this? I always insure that i avoid the pink in the claws and he doesnt mind me doing it at every now so is the flaking from regular clipping or what. Also why dont more people opt to clipp their indoor cats claws instead of the extreme crule de-clawing it quick and simply to do and pain free if they just clip. One other thing i dont think a cat that spends time outdoor should have their claws clipped it leaves them defenseless and unable to make quick emergency exits up trees and bushes so i think the claw clipping is for indoor only.

Resolved Question: What is the best way to paint walls and stain concrete in an apartment?
I am going to be at my apartment for quite some time and the carpet is really crappy. I tore up a part of it and have smooth brushed concrete below. Resolved Question: In your opinion, what is the best material for a patio on a lawn?
I would like to install a patio on our lawn for the purpose of setting out furniture and a grill for an area to entertain. every of this, without having to move anything for maintenance purposes, such as mowing or weed whacking grass between paving stones or slabs of slate. Or, have you used either of these by the piece applications and perhaps put tiny stones in the cracks? I considered a poured concrete slab with a design imprint and one without an imprint. AND I thought about paving stones with that sand filler between the stones that turns difficult after watering. Has anyone had any experience with either of these patio applications. I do not need installation instructions as I will be hiring a professional to do the work. I just need to know any personal opinions on pros and cons of either application or to hear if you have any other suggestions. The area is gong to be a pretty decent size on level ground, about 15' by 20'. My objective is not having to move the outdoor furniture for maintenance on a weekly basis, like mowing. Of course power washing once a year will be done.

Resolved Question: Which size apartment should we choose?
My husband, tiny dog (Megabyte), and I reside in a 2BR/2BA 1000sqft apartment. Our jobs have relocated and we are looking at 3BR/2BA 1287sqft vs 2BR/2BA 1027sqft. The leasing price difference is minimal. Let's access the pros and cons according to my Husband and I. Input of your suggestion is welcome. 3BR/2BA 1287ft2 PROS •Enough room to have office and excerise equip. in diff rooms •big laundry room •Front door opens into foyer •Two hall closets •Outdoor Storage Closet off of Deck CONS •No Walk-in Closets •No Bay Window in Living Room •tiny Pantry •Water heater in hall closet •Takes up in-home space 2BR/2BA 1027ft2 PROS •Bay Window in Living Room •Walk-in Closets •big Pantry •Water heater in Outdoor Storage Closet off of Deck CONS •tiny Laundry Room •Not enough rooms to keep furniture uncluttered •Front door opens into kitchen •No hall closets We're conflicted because we like the additional room in the 3BR as it would allow us to separate our office from our exercise equipment. However, the lack of big closet space in the 3BR leave us having to spread our closet bound belongs throughout multiple closets. http://www.apartmentsinstatesvillenc.com/pages/photo-gallery.asp

Resolved Question: Outdoor Wicker Furniture Repair?

Resolved Question: Moving with two large dogs?
Driving appx. 15 hrs. Want to put Dogs in their X-big crates, close the doors, attach a few stick up lights and have them ride in the back of truck w/the furniture. I figure they'll snooze most of the time except at the relax stops to walk & water them. Now these are two big outdoor dogs, and they've been companions since birth. Each has their possess box and they usually snooze in their crates by choice, the doors are always open so they can arrive & go as they pick but of course, the doors will be closed in the truck. Do you think this is a good plan or should we just dope them up & put them on a plane? They would have to sit there @ the airport in their crates every alone till we receive there 10 hrs after they land.

Resolved Question: How should I do with cat that has started acting up and is destroying our house?
Our cat, who is about 11 years old, has really started to act up and has become destructive over the last year. She used to have a lot of problems peeing inside the home when she was younger, but we found out she had a bladder infection. We got her some medicine and made her an outdoor cat and the problem seem solved. Unfortunately, within the last year, she has become unmanageable. She is constantly urinating in the home, hides and poops in our kids's room, scratches the furniture, has stopped grooming herself and now comes inside to rub her dirty bottom on the carpet (YUCK!), has started to destroy door frames, throws up on the same coffee table, keeps jumping up on the kitchen counters, the list goes on!! We do have a new baby in the home and so I am smart enough to know that this could be jealousy, but this is crazy. I am at my wits end. We have had he checked for more bladder infections and she is fine. We also have tons of scratching posts and cat toys, plus we try to show her adore and affection as much as possible....but I got to admit, it's seriously getting harder. Any suggestions?? Please help! I don't want to receive rid of her but I'm honestly about to have a mental breakdown from this cat!

Is it safe to store books, furniture, TV, computer, clothes, blankets and everything else in these units? i worry about them getting damaged from dampness in the air. will they be okay for 2 months? I am aware the local storage unit companies have indoor climate controlled units as well, but they are a lot more expensive and I need to watch my $ right now. thanks!

Resolved Question: Prague office furniture?
I need to buy a steel outdoor letterbox (that can be bolted onto a metal frame or wall, not a standalone, or clip into the door type), but despite checking the likes of IKEA, OBI, and Tesco, am at a total loss. Does anyone know somewhere that would do office items like this? Many thanks for any replies. Prague Czech, not Prague US

Resolved Question: Sims 3 Disc Authorization?
So I just installed outdoor living, then started the game. I played for like 20 minutes and for some reason it had furniture you could buy from the sims store, so I bought a sofa. As it started to load, everything started pausing. So I close down my computer and turned it back on. When I started the Sims 3 again, it loaded, then it said "Disc Authorization Failure" I closed out of the game and started it again. It said the same thing. What do I do?

Voting Question: My Cats pee on EVERYTHING?
I have a 6 year old male cat, and an 8 year old Female Cat. Both fixed. The female is the mom of the other. And at one point they were litter box trained. They used to be inside/outside cats, but they pee on everything. The curtains, the bedding, the clothes, anything plastic, the carpet, the plants. So we threw them outside. We have a big yard, with a HUGE field and they can 'go' anywhere, but they always go in our potted plants, and garden, and on our outdoor furniture and such. Its a living nightmare! And the keep sneaking into the home every which way they can and peeing every over our other stuff! If we can't receive them to cease we are going to have to receive rid of them, and whos going to want a bunch of cats that pee on everything? I'm afraid they would end up in the pound. Is there anything I can do to make this cease?

Resolved Question: My 2 year old staffy will not stop destroying our outdoor furniture?
Tried almost everything... he has a million toys and a bone outside.. doesnt chew them. we tried putting a cover on our outdoor setting he chewed right through it and chewed the chairs. he's been to puppy school. he's inside when ever we are home and he goes on regular walks. what the heck are we doing wrong???? He's desexed. and inside alot at the moment because my partner is off work for 3 months after having back surgery. i think everyones right he is just bored but its very difficult right now to give him the attention he needs as my partners not allowed to walk him right now so its every up to me. leaving him inside when we arent home isnt really an option as when we are both at work we are out for 8 - 9 hrs a day. we do have another dog whose 13 and only tiny so hes not really much entertainment for Buddha. we take him to our local dog park every now and then (aside from his walks) and to my partners dads to play with their staffy but he could be running with her nonstop for 3 hrs and it still doesnt tire him out enough! i guess we just have to accept we have one very active boy on our hands. i'm very scared if i receive another staffy (after the older dog passes) that i will just end up with two times the destruction??

Resolved Question: How to clean marble flooring?
Marble floor is a natural rock that's clip and polished to make building materials. It's attractive and durable and comes in a variety of colors, Marble tiles are frequently used inside the home in bathrooms, kitchens and foyers. Outside uses include patios and pool decks. Marble is porous, stains easily and can be etched by acidic foods or cleansers. Caring for marble tiles is easy if you take steps to prevent stains and damage from occurring Instructions Things You'll Need Coasters Place mats Furniture pads Plant stands Dust mop Area rugs Dish washing detergent rock cleaners Rust remover Squeegee Ammonia Marble wax Bleach Marble polishing powder 1.Use coasters for glasses and place mats below dishes and silverware. Acids from drinks or food can etch the surface and dishware can scratch the surface. Clean up spills immediately with a clean rag or paper towel. 2.Put pads below the legs of furniture that sits on marble tile and put houseplants on stands or decorative bases. Don't spill water on the marble when you tend the plants. 3.Dust mop marble tile floors. Keep the dust mop clean and do not use spray-on dust treatments on the mop. Use rugs in high traffic areas or at the entrances to rooms with marble floors. Make sure the moving parts in your vacuum cleaner aren't worn. Worn parts may scratch the surface. 4.Clean surfaces with mild dish washing detergent mixed in warm, not hot, water, or use commercially available rock cleaners. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry the marble with a soft cloth. 5.Remove rust stains with a commercial rust remover. Follow the manufacturer's instructions, but don't leave the rust remover on for any longer than it takes to remove the stain. 6.Use a squeegee on marble surfaces in the bathroom after each use. Remove soap scum with a mixture of 1/2 cup ammonia and 1 gallon of water. Using ammonia too often can dull the surface, so practice preventive cleaning. 7.Apply marble wax to vanity tops to minimize water spots. Make sure that the marble has been sealed by the installer in both bathrooms and kitchens. 8.Rinse outdoor pool decks and patios with clear water. Use a mixture of 1/4 cup household bleach in 1 gallon of water to remove algae and moss around the pool. 9.Remove etch or scratch marks by first cleaning the surface, wetting it and then adding marble polishing powder. Use a clean, wet cloth to rub the powder into the Etched area. Continue rubbing until the etching disappears. You may need a professional if the etching is severe. Resolved Question: So I have this random cat appearing at my front door and its not leaving? D:?
I have this orange cat that appeared in our yard at 3PM and now it's 11PM and he's still here. It's very well groomed, plump, & friendly so I'm assuming it's someones outdoor cat and not a stray. So every time we open the door, it want's to arrive in. I assumed it would have left by now but nope, still there. I want to keep it sheltered for the night, but we haven't owned a cat before so we don't have a litter box, food, an leave where he can receive out if needed. I think that the owner might be a classmate of mine when i was in grade 6 about 3 years ago. I don't know his phone number or address, he doesn't have facebook either. But he does have a sister who's in the same class as my brother so he can ask her tomorrow if the cat is still there. I want him to go home, but it doesn't look like he will. What times do outdoor cats usually return home? But for the meantime, what do I do? Let it stay out there in the icy? Bring it in? (I don't have any equipment and my parents don't want it roaming everywhere in the home and possibly peeing on furniture) He's still wandering around the door right now. Oh and he has no collar either. :/ We don't exactly have any meat thats not "seasoned" with salt and spices ect. Kinda tardy at night & he might belong to this person I know so IDK if I would want to bring him to the shelter immedietly. Thanks anyways We got him in one of the bathrooms, my mom bought some cat food and we put him in there with some water, a box & newspaper. Is that alright for the night?

Resolved Question: Cat has a pocket of fluid on his shoulder that is oozing a foul-smelling liquid...?
A couple of weeks ago, our (previously outdoor) cat returned home after an unusually long absence (a couple of days) with a bleeding wound of some sort on his shoulder. It wasn't bad, not even visible beneath his fur, but he was dripping a little onto the floor, so I pulled him into my lap and cleaned him up with a wet cloth and held him still until the bleeding stopped. It didn't seem to be bothering him the next day, so we forgot every about it. In the past four or five days, his shoulder began to ooze some nice of thick, tan-colored fluid occasionally, so that there was always a wet, slick patch in his fur. The source of the discharge wasn't visible through his fur until yesterday; suddenly, he has a very big, noticeable bulge on his shoulder with a red "head," almost like a pimple. When touched, it's apparent it is a pocket of fluid. From somewhere close the bottom of the pocket (strangely not from the visible red "head"), the flow of tan fluid has gotten more dramatic, to the point that he's leaving spots on the furniture whenever he stays in one place more than a few minutes. It has also taken on a very noticeable foul odor, from several feet away. He has gotten more and more reluctant to let me touch it and inspect it, so I think it is also making him very uncomfortable. He clearly needs to look a vet, but what I'm wondering is if I should rush him to the nearby urgent clinic tomorrow, or wait a few days until I can receive him an appointment with his regular vet. It might also be useful to be able to tell the vet what I suspect it is, to expedite the process. If anyone who has experience with cats knows what this thing is and how urgent it is, I'd appreciate some direction.

Resolved Question: How to get cat dander out of my house?
I have two indoor/outdoor cats who have spent the winter laying around on the furniture. An old pal is coming to visit tardy March, and he just told me he's really allergic to cat dander. I figure the cats can stay outside starting a couple of weeks before my pal comes, and I'll have the carpets cleaned. But I can't afford to have every the furniture cleaned. Dander is...invisible, right? Should I buy a sofa cover? How would I receive rid of the dander?

Resolved Question: OMG! Why do cats like my porch so much?
This is getting a little ridiculous. But, the last apartment I lived in was an upper floor apartment, but over the span of 4 years that we lived there 3 different cats (not at once) would climb the stairs to my outdoor balcony to lay on my outdoor furniture at night. Well, we moved about a month ago I thought I got away from the problem...and then...ANOTHER FREAKING CAT laying on the lawn furniture like he owned it!!! What is going on? Nobody around me, in the old place or the new place, feeds them. I don't feed them. I'm sure I'm not the only one in the neighborhood that has lawn furniture! I don't want to start funding a sleeping place against my will to the neighborhood feral cats! My porch is not their personal shelter. It's mine! And I am very clear about that. I use sprays, I yell at them make noisy noise....but to no avail. So, what is it with these cats? I scare this one off constantly but he keeps coming back! If you walk into a cave and a grisly bear claimed it first and he growls and shows territory aggression, you leave, and don't arrive back unless you don't value your life! Well, I did this. I showed aggression and anger, claiming my territory, he ran off, but came back 5 minutes later! There he was laying on my outdoor sofa like he owned it! Don't these animals know this is MY territory after I? I mean, I literally scared him off!! What is it these cats adore about my porch that, no matter how much I frighten them, they keep coming back? And what is so appealing about my furniture? This happened in the last place, now my new place! Am I ever going to have a problem with feral cats as long as I have that furniture? BTW, I'm not a heartless cat hater or anything. I just don't like feral cats hanging out on my furniture. I'm afraid they'll claw it, or worse, spray on my belongings!!!! I like cats. Just cats that are someone's pet, or my pet. I don't possess cats, but I did when I was a kid. I adore animals. But to me, having a feral cat on my porch is no different than a raccoon or a badger. I feel bad for the guy, but I don't want other cats to start fighting over my porch! I don't mind if one cat does, but one cat always leads to fights and battles over the territory! Damaging and smelling up my things!!! Ok, so citrus smells are offensive to cats. Can this be any citrus odor? Like White Citrus from bath and body works? That stuff smells exactly like someone clip open a lemon and lime. Would that stuff work? I adore the odor of citrus. But I don't want to spray strong chemicals on my porch furniture cushions. They're dark colored and I don't want to ruin them. So b&b works White Citrus....would it work?
